Qualifications

• Strong CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS Level II coding knowledge.
• Ability to review operative reports and assign accurate codes.
• Familiarity with coding audits, payer guidelines, and physician queries.

Responsibilities

• Abstract data and assign ICD-10 and CPT codes per policy.
• Use PMS to track demographics and services for coded cases.
• Coordinate with physicians to obtain documentation for coding and billing.
• Educate clinical staff on documentation and coding standards.
