Job summary

Specialty Appliances Orthodontic Laboratory is seeking an Orthodontic Territory Manager to sell our lab and retail orthodontic products and services to practitioners. You will drive revenue by acquiring new accounts and expanding existing ones across your U.S.

territory. You will build knowledge of orthodontic products and clinical treatments to converse with Orthodontists, Dentists, and staff, while managing onboarding and lasting relationships across departments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in dental.
• Minimum 1 year experience in orthodontics preferred.
• Proven track record of success and ability to build profitable relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful.
• Ability to travel across the U.S. to meet with customers, attend meetings/shows, etc.
• Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time depending upon task being performed.
• An intelligent and articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization.

Responsibilities

• Hunter mentality to drive revenue by selling to new accounts and established customers within your assigned territory.
• Develop knowledge of orthodontic products and clinical treatments to converse with Orthodontists, Dentists, and staff.
• Develop relationships with practices and practitioners while driving adoption and orders.
• Manage account onboarding.
• Manage accounts through their lifecycle working cross-functionally with customer service, billing, and other departments.
• Support sales activities at events and shows as needed.
• Develop and execute sales plans to meet and/or exceed quota for sales in your territory.
• Drive adoption using webinars, lunch n learns, etc. as appropriate.
