Job summary

Relentless is seeking an Organizing Copywriter to craft participant-facing copy across emails, texts, live events, social posts, and Rally in-app content that educates and mobilizes thousands of people. You will simplify policy and voting information into clear, actionable language with a friendly, empowering tone.

This remote, full-time role requires research, template work, fast turnaround on edits, and the ability to adapt voice to different audiences and program moments.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience writing copy in mission-driven settings.
• Strong writing and editing skills with a sharp eye for detail.
• Make complex information simple, accessible and exciting for everyday people.
• Adapt tone and voice across audiences, formats, and moments.
• Comfortable with fast-paced, evolving environments and juggling multiple projects on deadline.
• Familiar with Notion, Canva, Google Workspace, and Slack or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Write emails and texts participants get at each step of the program, nudging them toward the next action.
• Write copy for live events, including run-of-show scripts and slide text.
• Research candidates, elections, and issues to write event scripts and edit them.
• Write social media copy, captions, posts, and sample comments/DMs.
• Write copy for Rally, sign-up forms, and short explainers.
• Create a FAQs bank with clear answers and updates.
• Translate policy into clear, compelling copy to drive action.
• Work from templates, adapting tone to audiences and moments.
• Use Notion, Canva, Google Workspace, and Slack to collaborate and deliver on time.
