Job summary

Atlas Technologies is seeking an Oracle/PeopleSoft Database Administrator to design, implement, and optimize our enterprise PeopleSoft DB infrastructure. The role supports Oracle databases across AWS RDS with emphasis on performance tuning, backups, security, and disaster recovery.

A DoD Secret clearance and Security+ CE are required, with 5+ years of Oracle DBA experience. Remote work is available for residents in the US with up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• DoD Secret Level security clearance is required.
• Security+ CE Certification or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Oracle DBA with Oracle DB architecture knowledge.
• Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and scripting languages (Bash or Python).

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, patch, and upgrade Oracle database software across AWS RDS environments.
• Perform SQL tuning and performance optimization for PeopleSoft databases.
• Ensure database availability and security with automated monitoring and audits.
• Develop robust backup strategies using RMAN and PITR with cross-region backups.
• Support migrations and upgrades including PeopleTools and PUM lifecycle.
• Document configurations, runbooks, and processes; automate tasks with scripts.
