Job summary

Atlas Technologies, Inc. seeks a skilled Oracle/PeopleSoft Database Administrator to join its IT team in a fully remote role available for residents in select US states. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing the PeopleSoft database to support essential HR systems.

The ideal candidate will possess a DoD Secret Level Security Clearance, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant experience, and at least 5 years in Oracle DBA roles. Skills in performance tuning, SQL scripting, and cloud database management are crucial.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA with knowledge of Oracle architecture.
• Possession of a Department of Defense Secret Level Security Clearance.
• Experience with cloud-based databases (AWS RDS, OCI) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, patch, and upgrade Oracle database software.
• Perform proactive performance monitoring and SQL tuning.
• Ensure database availability and integrity through automated monitoring.
• Develop and implement robust backup strategies.
• Troubleshoot database issues.
