Job summary

Atlas Technologies is seeking an Oracle/PeopleSoft Database Administrator to design, implement, and optimize the PeopleSoft database to support our HR system. This remote role allows residents in a broad set of states, with up to 10% travel.

You will install, configure, patch, and upgrade Oracle database software across AWS RDS environments, monitor performance, implement robust backups, enforce security, and automate routine tasks. Strong collaboration and cross-region DR planning are required.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship and DoD Secret clearance required.
• Minimum 5 years of Oracle DBA experience.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field; Security+ CE or equivalent.
• Experience with AWS RDS and PeopleSoft monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, patch, and upgrade Oracle database in AWS RDS.
• Perform SQL tuning and performance optimization for PeopleSoft.
• Ensure availability, backup, and security using RMAN, CloudWatch, and auditing.
• Develop automation scripts (Shell, Python) for operational tasks.
• Support migrations, DR planning, and HA configurations for mission-critical systems.
