Atlas Tech is seeking an Oracle/PeopleSoft Database Administrator to design, implement, and optimize the PeopleSoft database supporting our HR system. The role is fully remote for eligible U.S.

residents and involves implementing backup, security, and monitoring strategies while coordinating across cloud and on‑prem environments. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Oracle DBA with in-depth knowledge of Oracle database architecture.
• Experience with AWS RDS, CloudWatch, and PeopleSoft monitoring integrations.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, patch, and upgrade Oracle database software across AWS RDS environments.
• Perform proactive performance monitoring, SQL tuning, and resource optimization for PeopleSoft.
• Ensure database availability, integrity and security through automated monitoring and health checks.
• Develop robust backup strategies including RMAN and PITR with cross-region backups.
• Automate routine tasks using shell scripting, Python, and Lambda workflows.
• Support migrations and upgrades across environments (on-premises/cloud) including PeopleTools upgrades.
