Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Business System Analyst to support Oracle EBS and Fusion Cloud Finance in a global enterprise setting. You will translate complex business needs into functional specs and design documentation while collaborating with users and vendors to deliver finance transformations.

The role blends functional (80%) and technical (20%) work, emphasizing process optimization in Q2C and P2P, and requires strong communication across business partners. Remote work is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Overall Experience: 8+ years of professional experience in business systems analysis and IT consulting.
• Oracle Expertise: 4+ years of hands-on experience supporting Oracle R12 EBS or Oracle Fusion Cloud applications, with depth in Q2C and P2P modules.
• Financial Domain Expertise: 4+ years of strong functional experience in supply chain-heavy financial accounting, including revenue recognition, customer billing, supplier invoicing, and Intercompany transactions tied to physical goods, subscriptions and bundled offers.
• Strong understanding of key finance business processes and financial data structures.
• Proven track record in driving business process simplification and Oracle standard adoption.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, bridging gaps between technical teams and executive partners.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and translate complex business requirements into functional specifications and design documentation.
• Perform fit/gap analyses across finance workflows to evaluate customization needs versus standard functionality.
• Lead collaboration with internal users and external vendors/partners to deliver user-centric, best-practice solutions.
• Adapt to an Agile environment with multiple projects and ongoing enhancements.
