ANI Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking an Ophthalmology Account Executive to cover the Richmond/Norfolk area with remote responsibilities in the United States.

The role focuses on disease awareness, patient identification, and market development within Ophthalmology and Retina, reporting to the Rare Disease Area Business Director. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in rare disease or ophthalmology sales, with a track record of market growth and drug launches.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of demonstrated success in rare disease, retina and/or specialty pharmaceutical sales.
• Extensive experience calling on Retina Specialists, Ophthalmologists and Eye Care Professionals is strongly preferred.
• Experience launching a drug in a competitive space with a track record of market growth is desired.

Responsibilities

• Drive physician and patient identification, market development, and brand awareness in Ophthalmology and Retina.
• Build and execute territory strategy and account-specific plans.
• Prioritize resources to optimize access to high-potential accounts.
• Develop individual account plans for key accounts and physicians.
• Maintain relationships with physicians through pre-call planning and post-call analysis.
• Collaborate with Ophthalmology brand team and other functions to ensure access and logistics for patients.
