Job summary

ANI Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking an Ophthalmology Account Executive to lead physician and patient education in a Richmond/Norfolk area with a remote work option.

The role requires 5+ years in rare disease or ophthalmology sales, a Bachelor's degree, and the ability to travel 50%+. You will develop territory plans, build key account relationships, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive market development and product awareness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of sales in rare disease, retina or specialty pharma.
• Extensive experience calling on Retina Specialists, Ophthalmologists and Eye Care Professionals.
• Experience launching a drug in a competitive space.
• Understanding of buy-and-bill, patient services and specialty channel distribution.
• Willingness to travel 50%+ and to work evenings/weekends.
• Ability to manage a multi-state territory.

Responsibilities

• Drive physician and patient identification, market development, and brand awareness.
• Build and execute territory strategy and account plans.
• Prioritize resources to optimize access and development of high-potential accounts.
• Create account plans for key physicians and maximize sales results.
• Maintain relationships with physicians through pre-call planning and post-call analysis.
• Collaborate with Ophthalmology brand team and MS Ls, Market Access, patient HUB and other internal stakeholders.
• Partner with key accounts to drive patient identification and territory retention.
• Demonstrate integrity and compliance.
• Other duties as assigned.
