Job summary

Sun Ophthalmics is seeking a dedicated ophthalmic sales professional in New York to drive HCP engagement and educate on therapeutic areas. You will report to the Regional Sales Manager and build strong relationships with healthcare professionals.

The role requires 2+ years in pharma sales, ophthalmology experience preferred, and willingness to travel domestically. You will execute business plans, deliver compliant scientific messages, and contribute to sales targets within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a scientific field.
• Two+ years pharmaceutical sales experience or equivalent preferred.
• Two+ years of specialty pharmaceutical experience, ophthalmology preferred.
• Willingness to travel domestically, including overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with target HCPs.
• Deliver MLR approved, education-focused messages to target HCPs.
• Business planning and execution for the assigned territory.
• Enhance HCP awareness of Sun Ophthalmics products, data, safety, and efficacy.
• Equip HCPs with tools to facilitate robust patient conversations.
• Build HCP knowledge and confidence in identifying treatment gaps.
• Increase awareness of the therapeutic area and identify patient gaps.
• Meet call activity and financial targets for the territory.
