Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a Surgical Account Manager to promote Bausch + Lomb’s ophthalmic portfolio in a remote, territory-based role across the United States. You will lead surgical device demonstrations, guide clinical evaluations, and support surgeons during procedures.

The role requires 3+ years of outside sales in ophthalmic or medical devices, strong CRM skills, and 25–75% travel. You’ll educate teams on intraocular lenses and Stellaris while building relationships with key opinion

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (HS +10 years or Associate +6 years)
• 3+ years outside sales, preferably in ophthalmic, medical device, or surgical sales
• Strong communication, organization, and CRM skills; ability to travel 25-75% and work remotely

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets through product demonstrations, evaluations, and in-service support
• Serve as primary contact for ophthalmic surgeons and staff
• Educate customers on device use and benefits, including platforms like Stellaris
• Build relationships with key opinion leaders and decision-makers
• Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities and coordinate surgical evaluations
• Provide technical support during procedures
