Job summary

Bausch + Lomb is seeking a Surgical Account Manager to drive growth across assigned ophthalmic accounts. You will promote and sell the surgical device portfolio, provide clinical expertise, and educate surgeons and OR staff on B+L technologies, including Stellaris.

The role is remote/field-based with 25%–75% travel, requiring independent work in a territory and travel to workload centers as needed. Strong sales experience with medical devices is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of successful outside sales experience in ophthalmic/medical device/surgical sales.
• Prior experience in surgical environments is preferred.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed territory sales objectives through product demonstrations, evaluations, proposals, and in-services.
• Generate leads, develop sales proposals, and manage product demo evaluations and post-sale equipment in-services.
• Protect and grow core consumable business through equipment conversions and product/service/technology innovation.
• Conduct competitive market analysis to identify new business opportunities and respond to market dynamics.
