Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Operations Supervisor – Commercial Lines to lead the Account Management team at the Longwood, FL branch. You will drive service excellence, oversee daily operations, and ensure policy administration, billing, and renewals are executed with accuracy.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in insurance, licensing active, and strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience; or 7+ years in sales, marketing or relationship management.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing is required.
• Professional designations are preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead Account Management staff and coach the team to meet service standards.
• Monitor productivity, quality, and service metrics and drive improvements.
• Ensure HR policies, processes, and recruitment/onboarding are followed.
• Manage an assigned book of business and support renewals.
• Provide technical guidance on coverage, policy administration, and billing.
• Analyze performance data and maintain data integrity across systems.
• Promote IOA culture and support staff development.
