Job summary

Siemens Government Technologies in Arlington, VA seeks an Operations Specialist to support Services Opportunities and Projects of small to mid-size with light supervision. You will coordinate the Engagement Lifecycle from opportunity to booking and from order to execution, acting as a primary contact for Engagement Managers, Project Managers, Procurement, Finance, and Government stakeholders.

You will ensure alignment of pricing, oversee budgeting, monitor billing, and assist in closeout

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Project Management or equivalent.
• 4+ years of project coordination or administration experience or equivalent.
• 3+ years in a customer-facing environment.
• Knowledge of services business administration including project setup, contracts, progress reporting, revenue recognition and billing.
• Experience identifying and implementing cost savings in services projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with executives.
• Willingness to travel up to 5% and to work core hours per project.

Responsibilities

• Support Engagement Managers through services lead to order, vet requirements and pricing alignment.
• Manage vendor processes from quotations to purchase orders.
• Administrate planning, budgeting, and documentation of projects.
• Monitor project billing and assist with acceptance documentation.
• Review travel billings against regulations.
• Support budgeting reallocations and funding balances.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to resolve issues.
• Contribute to project closeout processes.
• Promote company culture, processes, and stakeholder communication.
