Job summary

Albizu University is seeking a Virtual Navigator (Grant-Funded) to provide proactive, individualized support to online psychology students. You will serve as the primary connection to academic, financial, technology, career, and student-support resources, using data-driven navigation and AI-enabled tools.

The role requires a bachelor's degree and 2 years in student services or related fields, with emphasis on online learning environments and Canvas proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, education, social work, student affairs, higher education, human services, or related field.
• Two years of experience in providing student services, advice, case management, navigation, customer service, or related direct-support services.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students in an online or technology-supported environment.
• Experience using Canvas or supporting online college students is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized virtual navigation and one-stop support to online BS in Psychology students.
• Coach and guide faculty and students on effective use of Canvas as the LMS.
• Conduct proactive outreach based on needs, alerts, inquiries, and indicators of barriers to progress.
