Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. in Milwaukee is seeking an Oncology Sales Representative to grow our oncology portfolio. You will engage with customers, educate stakeholders, and drive progress toward sales goals across the Milwaukee territory and parts of Northern Illinois.

This field-based role requires travel, collaboration with the Oncology Customer Team Leader, and the ability to work with cross-functional partners to understand practice dynamics and patient needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of sales experience or high school diploma with 8+ years in related fields.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive.
• Travel 10-15% including overnight travel as required.
• Reside in or near the district to support field activities.

Responsibilities

• Attain or exceed the assigned sales goals for the geography.
• Collaborate with territory counterparts to ensure a seamless customer experience with Oncology products.
• Meet with key stakeholders to understand practice structure, business model, and needs.
• Communicate patient-centered rationale for Oncology products in indicated uses.
• Understand tumor pathways and treatment options and their impact on patients.
• Analyze trends in a complex buying environment across multiple channels.
• Develop and execute short- and long-term plans with the local team and district manager.
• Ask insightful questions to tailor conversations to customer priorities.
