Job summary

Merck & Co. in Milwaukee, WI seeks an Oncology Sales Representative to engage with customers, educate stakeholders about oncology products, and drive sales within the territory including Northern Illinois and parts of Wisconsin.

The role requires travel, meeting with customers in-person, and contributing to national sales meetings and conferences. A strong background in healthcare, oncology, and proven sales performance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least 6 years of sales experience or 8 years in equivalent experience.
• Healthcare/scientific experience with oncology preferred (not necessarily sales).
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed sales goals for the Milwaukee region.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders and understand their needs.
• Educate stakeholders on oncology products and therapies.
• Understand cancer pathways and treatment options and guidelines.
• Analyze buying environment trends across multiple distribution channels.
• Review patterns of outpatient vs inpatient product purchases.
• Develop short- and long-term plans with the Oncology Customer Team Leader.
• Assemble insightful questions to uncover customer priorities.
• Ensure consistent customer experience across divisions and teams.
