Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Sales Director – Oncology Provider to expand our specialty footprint across community oncology offices in a nationwide remote geography. This Director-level, individual contributor role reports to the Director, Sales and Business Development and travels up to 50%.

You will build pipelines, close new business, and collaborate with finance, deal modeling, and proposals while mentoring junior staff and representing Cardinal Health at industry events.

Qualifications

• Eight years of healthcare sales and complex account management experience, including oncology exposure.
• Experience with contracting, demand realization, and GPO pull-through.
• Strong planning, forecasting, financial and negotiation skills.
• Ability to travel up to 50% in territory; work from home when not traveling.

Responsibilities

• Identify, target, and close new business with oncology provider offices; build a pipeline.
• Respond to hot leads to generate interest and opportunities.
• Collaborate with deal modeling, finance and proposals to develop and execute proposals.
• Deliver executive-level sales presentations to customers.
• Manage executive relationships with professionals.
• Develop territory business plans and communicate updates.
• Stay abreast of industry changes and participate in sales training.
• Mentor junior sales team members.
• Represent Cardinal Health at industry events and with pharma counterparts.
