Job summary

Amgen is seeking an Account Manager for the Oncology portfolio to drive portfolio performance through strategic account planning with major Oncology accounts including community ONCs, academic centers, and large hospital systems. You will engage executive stakeholders, align cross-functional teams, and advance reimbursement discussions to optimize patient care and population health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 6 years of sales experience and 3+ years of account management and/or payor experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of the evolving US healthcare landscape and impact of healthcare reform.
• Demonstrated ability to engage executive/administrative level personnel at large accounts.
• Oncology market experience and understanding of access and reimbursement landscape.
• Experience coordinating complex programs and projects with strong project management skills.
• Proven success navigating complex health systems and building relationships with key decision makers.

Responsibilities

• Enable Amgen Oncology portfolio performance through development of strategic account plans across assigned accounts.
• Engage target customers compliantly on Amgen Oncology portfolio and identify mutual areas of interest.
• Lead cross-functional alignment to ensure appropriate coverage and engagement with Key Accounts.
• Drive adoption of quality-based initiatives and align with portfolio priorities and patient care goals.
• Manage contracting, pricing, and value messages with executive and administrative stakeholders.
