Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a Patient Access Manager to serve as the field-based SPOC for patients and caregivers across the Oncology portfolio. You will guide onboarding, access, and ongoing treatment phases, while assisting provider accounts with coverage, coding, and payment questions after a prescribing decision has been made.

The role requires 3+ years in reimbursement or access programs, ability to travel up to 20%, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
3+ years of experience in field reimbursement, hub case management, patient experience programs, or helping patients and providers navigate insurance verification, prior authorization requirements, and access criteria.
Ability to travel up to 20%, including overnights.
Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Serve as the point of contact for patients, caregivers, and HCP staff for oncology coverage and access.
Educate provider offices on payer coverage, coding, and payment policies using approved materials.
Support patient enrollment in GSK services, including PAP, and guide offices through enrollment requirements and consent capture.
Document interactions and manage cases in Salesforce Health Cloud / CRM in line with program standards.
Maintain HIPAA privacy and compliance and ensure separation between patient-facing and account-facing activities.
