Job summary

Merck is seeking an Oncology Sales Representative to drive growth in our oncology portfolio within a flexible remote framework. You will engage with clinicians and health system stakeholders, educating them on indications and benefits while aiming to meet or exceed territory sales goals.

You\'ll travel for in-person customer visits and national meetings, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and translate market insights into actionable account strategies across your district.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of sales experience or equivalent.
• Healthcare/oncology background preferred (pharma, biotech, or devices) even if not in sales.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel 10–15% with overnight stays.
• Reside in or near the district.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed territory sales goals with the team.
• Engage with customers to understand needs and communicate the oncology portfolio.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders and understand practice structure and patient pathways.
• Analyze market trends and patterns to inform short- and long-term plans.
• Collaborate with Oncology Customer Team Leader and cross-functional partners to ensure a seamless customer experience.
