Job summary

Merck is seeking an Oncology Sales Representative to grow our oncology portfolio in a field-based role across the United States. You will engage with customers, educate stakeholders about our oncology products, and drive sales goals while leveraging data analytics to understand patient needs.

Candidates must be willing to travel, hold a relevant degree, and have oncology experience. Remote work arrangements are available with travel up to 25% to meet customers and national sales meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 6 years of sales experience or a minimum of high school diploma with at least 8 years of equivalent experience.
• Healthcare/scientific field experience in oncology preferred (not necessarily sales).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive.
• Travel up to 25% including overnight travel.
• Reside in or near the district.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed assigned sales goals for the geography.
• Engage with customers to understand needs and build relationships.
• Communicate the value of oncology products to stakeholders.
• Understand cancer pathways and treatment options to inform discussions.
• Analyze market dynamics and account patterns to guide plans.
