Job summary

Merck is seeking an Oncology Sales Representative to cover the Oregon territory in a field-based role. You will engage with customers, educate stakeholders on Oncology products, and aim to exceed sales goals while traveling as needed.

The position requires 6+ years of sales experience or 8+ years in a related healthcare field, with a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 25%. Remote work arrangements are available where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years sales experience or high school diploma with 8+ years equivalent experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive.
• Travel 25% (overnight where required).

Responsibilities

• Attain or exceed assigned sales goals for Oregon geography.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders and understand practice structure and needs.
• Communicate patient-centered rationale for Oncology products.
• Understand cancer care pathways and treatment options.
• Analyze buying environment and patterns across distribution channels.
• Develop short- and long-term plans with the Oncology Customer Team Leader.
