Cardinal Health is seeking an Account Director – Oncology Provider to expand our specialty footprint within community-based oncology practices by pursuing new product lines, technology services and retaining existing business in a defined geography.

You will partner with other Sales Executives and Inside Sales to ensure a strong Cardinal Health network, manage executive relationships, and develop territory plans to drive growth in oncology solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or commensurate experience.
• Minimum eight years of healthcare sales and complex account/relationship management experience.
• Experience with oncology practice business.
• Experience with contracting, demand realization, and GPO pull through.
• Excellent planning, forecasting, financial and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated matrix management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to travel 50% within the territory; work from home when not traveling.

Responsibilities

• Grow market share and profitability through consultative sales strategies.
• Deliver compelling sales presentations to executive customers.
• Manage executive relationships with professionals across the network.
• Develop territory business plans and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Manage key accounts within assigned regions.

• Provide competitive intelligence to stakeholders.
• Represent Cardinal Health at industry events.
• Develop relationships with pharmaceutical counterparts.
