Job summary

Talentoma is seeking a People Operations Associate to help welcome new colleagues and coordinate onboarding activities. The role focuses on organizing routine onboarding requests and providing thoughtful follow-up, under the supervision of a people operations team lead.

This fully remote position is based in Utah, United States, with a 40-hour weekly commitment. You will collaborate with recruiters, hiring managers, new employees, and internal partners to ensure a smooth onboarding experience

Qualifications

• Professional written and verbal communication for working with new employees, recruiters, hiring managers, and internal support partners.
• Ability to use a scheduling/calendar to coordinate meetings, send reminders, and communicate changes clearly.
• Follow established onboarding steps and maintain clear task notes for team handoffs.

Responsibilities

• Receive onboarding questions, task requests, and status updates; sort by urgency and required next step.
• Review incoming employee details for completeness and compare with approved hiring information.
• Enter and update onboarding status in HR systems with clear notes for teammates.
