Job summary

Wasatch Peaks Credit Union seeks a friendly Talent Specialist to join our in-person HR/People Success Team. You will drive recruiting, onboarding lifecycle, and new employee experience from launch through successful integration.

Collaborate with managers to plan staffing, maintain records, and administer benefits while safeguarding confidential information. You will handle job postings, candidate communications, offers, background checks, and onboarding milestones, with access to Paylocity,

Qualifications

• 2–4 years HR experience in recruiting, onboarding or related field.
• Experience in financial institutions or regulated environments is helpful.
• Familiar with HRIS and applicant tracking systems; confidentiality required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate job postings, sourcing, applicant tracking, interviews, and background checks.
• Partner with managers on staffing needs, interview plans, and start dates.
• Communicate with applicants throughout recruiting and hiring processes.
• Route offers and pre-employment docs; ensure approvals and screenings are complete.
• Maintain recruiting analytics and staffing reports for leadership.
• Administer internal posting and candidate processes per policy.
• Own onboarding lifecycle from offer to successful integration.
• Coordinate orientation, new hire paperwork, eligibility docs, benefits enrollment, and 401(k).
• Schedule training, system access, equipment, and first-day readiness.
• Run onboarding communications, milestones, surveys, and welcome items.
• Support mentoring program and onboarding follow-ups; improve processes.
