Job summary

Talentoma seeks an HR Representative to support new-hire onboarding and answer questions. The role is fully remote, based in New York, with a 40-hour weekly commitment and varying shifts. You will collaborate with recruiters, hiring managers, and HR partners to ensure timely updates and smooth handoffs for new hires.

You will use Workday and Lever to manage profiles, track progress, and coordinate onboarding steps, while maintaining precise notes and responsive communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong clear communication in phone and written form.
• Experience supporting onboarding, recruiting, or office coordination preferred.
• Comfort using HR systems like Workday and ATS like Lever.

Responsibilities

• Monitor queues for new-hire questions and onboarding requests.
• Review onboarding information and update HR systems.
• Provide clear, accurate onboarding steps and resources to new hires.
• Coordinate welcome activities and scheduling using Calendly.
• Update candidate progression and milestones in Lever.
• Maintain organized notes and follow-up dates in the system.
• Escalate complex questions to HR lead when needed.
