Job summary

ExlService Holdings, Inc. via Castle High Value invites self-directed independent contractors to conduct high-value home surveys from their own home or office.

You will schedule and perform site-based and virtual surveys for homeowners’ insurance purposes in the Wheeling, WV region within roughly 70 miles, using web-based reporting. Experience in real estate, insurance, inspection, construction or appraising is a plus; a 15-hour online training course can certify you.

Responsibilities

• Interact professionally with homeowners and insurance agents by phone, email, and in person.
• Conduct on-site and/or virtual property surveys on high value homes as per customer guidelines.
• Identify and document construction materials/characteristics and unique features of the home.
• Obtain measurements of the home and other structures on the property.
• Generate an estimated replacement value of the home and identify major hazards.
• Submit information gathered during on-site inspection via web-based client forms on the Castle site.
