Job summary

EXL Service Holdings, Inc. is seeking self-directed independent contractors to perform high-value residential surveys in the Pittsburgh area and surrounding regions.

You will schedule and conduct site-based and virtual surveys, coordinate assignments, and complete web-based reports; training is available, and fees are negotiable based on experience and job specifics. Candidates should have real estate, insurance, inspection, construction, or appraisal experience; a 15-hour online training course

Qualifications

• Professional interaction with homeowners and insurance agents
• Conduct on-site and/or virtual property surveys on high value homes
• Identify and document construction materials/characteristics and unique features
• Obtain measurements of the home and other structures
• Generate an estimated replacement value of the home and identify major hazards
• Communicate information gathered during on-site inspection in web-based client forms

Responsibilities

• Schedule and conduct site-based and virtual surveys for homeowners’ insurance purposes
• Coordinate and complete surveys within your own schedule
• Manage work assignments you accept
• Report via web-based forms accessed through the Castle website
