Job summary

EXL Service Holdings, Inc. through Castle High Value seeks self-directed independent contractors to perform high-value residential insurance surveys from home or office. Surveys may be conducted virtually or on-site in Portland, ME and surrounding locations, with potential travel to inland and island sites.

Ideal candidates have experience in real estate, insurance, inspection, construction or appraisal. A 15-hour online training may certify you, and fees are negotiable based on job specifics

Qualifications

• Experience in real estate, insurance, inspection, construction or appraising is a plus.
• Willingness to work as an independent contractor from home or office.
• Strong communication and scheduling skills for field surveys.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and conduct site-based and virtual high-value home surveys.
• Coordinate and complete surveys within your own schedule.
• Generate estimated replacement value and identify major hazards.
• Document construction materials/characteristics and features of the home.
• Obtain measurements of the home and other structures on the property.
• Submit reports through web-based client forms via Castle website.
