Job summary

No Worries Care Tacoma is seeking a remote On Call Scheduling Coordinator to cover our after-hours phone line as an independent contractor (1099). When our offices close at 4:00 PM Pacific, our phone line routes to you. You answer calls, solve what you can, and get everything else to the right person on our team.

This side role fits alongside a day job, as long as you can answer promptly during shifts. You will handle after-hours calls, coordinate caregiver coverage, update scheduling data in

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of scheduling experience in home care or related field.
• Reliable with after-hours phone support.
• Able to use scheduling software (WellSky, ClearCare is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Answer after-hours calls from caregivers, clients, and families.
• Manage caregiver call-offs and fill shifts by contacting up to five caregivers before escalating to a manager.
• Make and update schedule changes in scheduling software.
• Route client concerns and inquiries to the right team member.
• Follow escalation steps for urgent situations.
• Log every call and provide a handoff note each morning.
