Job summary

Solve Industrial Motion Group is seeking a Business Development Manager; OEM to identify new customers and opportunities within the Midwest, focusing on key verticals such as Material Handling, Food & Beverage, Car Wash, Lawn & Garden, Agriculture and Logistics. This is a fully remote role, but candidates must reside locally to Indianapolis, Chicago or Kansas City.

You will leverage independent manufacturer reps, expand knowledge of Solve products, and partner with cross‑functional teams to grow

Qualifications

• 5+ years of outside industrial sales experience.
• 2+ years of sales focus on bearings and power transmission markets.
• Ability to travel up to 50% with a valid driver’s license.
• Intermediate Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth and profitability in key vertical markets (e.g., Material Handling, Food & Beverage, Car Wash, Lawn & Garden, Agriculture, Logistics).
• Forecast sales goals and analyze market trends to guide product development.
• Maintain updated sales activity in the CRM system.
• Foster relationships with independent manufacturer reps to champion Solve products.
• Conduct onsite meetings and presentations; upsell new products and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Marketing and Engineering to promote core product lines.
