Job summary

ABB Inc. is hiring an OEM Business Development Manager for Industrial Machinery on a remote basis in the United States. The role focuses on driving new business with OEMs across ABB's Motion Drive Products, including drives and automation solutions.

Travel to key accounts is 50-75%. The candidate will develop 1-3 year growth strategies, map decision-makers, and collaborate with multiple internal teams to expand ABB's share of wallet in target applications such as material handling and food &

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field with 8+ years of relevant experience, or an associate degree with 10+ years of relevant experience.
Proven business development and sales experience in drives, motors, automation, or related industrial solutions.
Demonstrated success in hunting for new business and growing revenue in competitive OEM markets.
Experience with ABB or comparable portfolios including VFDs, automation solutions, micro drives, PLCs, and HMIs.

Responsibilities

Drive new business development and solution sales for ABB's Motion Drive Products with OEMs in industrial machinery segments.
Develop and execute 1-3 year growth strategies for targeted OEM accounts and map decision-makers.
Own account planning, pipeline development, forecasting, and CRM execution in Salesforce.
Monitor industry trends and competitive activity to build differentiated value propositions and support negotiations.
