The role requires 3+ years in pharma or medical device sales, strong relationship-building and presentation skills, and the ability to travel up to 80% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 3+ years pharma or medical device sales.
• Ability to build long-term customer relationships.
• Ability to absorb product and practice information quickly.
• Experience with strategic, targeted business plans.
• Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Eye care space knowledge preferred.
• Balance a broad product portfolio.
• Knowledge of payer landscape: Commercial, Medicare Part D.
• Understanding physician decision making.
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and meet/exceed quarterly sales revenue and product goals.
• Apply entrepreneurial mindset to grow the territory and acquire new customers.
• Drive demand through organic pull-through and reimbursement solutions.
• Call on ophthalmic professionals, develop physician relationships, and maintain follow-up.
• Develop quarterly action plans with internal resources and partner with accounts.
• Record sales activity in the CRM accurately and timely.
• Maintain understanding of portfolio and competition; articulate clinical benefits compliantly.
• Operate with urgency in customer care and follow-up.
• Collaborate with internal departments and peers.
• Travel within territory; overnight trips.
• Comply with Code of Practice and regulations.
• Manage expenses and submit monthly reports.
