Job summary

Grafana Labs is recruiting for a remote Observability lead to manage backend and frontend engineers across a global, remote-first team. You will guide projects like Fleet Management and the Kubernetes Helm Chart, ensuring seamless integration with Grafana Cloud products.

You will collaborate with product, engineering, and GTM to deliver high-quality results while fostering a safe, inclusive culture and leveraging AI-assisted tooling to accelerate prototyping and iteration.

Responsibilities

• Lead backend and frontend engineers, providing regular feedback and growth conversations for a distributed remote team.
• Collaborate with go-to-market to ensure customers are successful with the Observability collection journey.
• Work with product and engineering leadership to ensure Fleet Management, Kubernetes Helm Chart, and the Instrumentation Hub fit the Grafana Cloud UX.
• Provide guidance from ideation through planning, execution and post-launch to deliver high-quality results.
• Foster a psychologically safe environment encouraging experimentation and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate across teams to solve customer problems and drive cross-functional impact.
