Grafana Labs is hiring for a Senior leadership role in Observability, remote-first with global teams. You will oversee backend and frontend engineers, guiding the development of Fleet Management, the Kubernetes Helm Chart, and the Instrumentation Hub within Grafana Cloud.

The role emphasizes autonomy, collaboration, and customer-focused delivery. You will work across time zones in a distributed team, shaping product strategy, tooling, and deployment practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in Observability or central control plane that manages fleets of collectors.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems including scalability and fault tolerance.
• Comfortable collaborating across time zones in a fully remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop backend and frontend engineers, supporting growth through regular feedback.
• Collaborate with go-to-market to ensure customers succeed with Observability collection journey.
• Ensure Fleet Management, Kubernetes Helm Chart, and Instrumentation Hub fit end-to-end Grafana Cloud products.
