Job summary

Grafana Labs is a fully remote company powering Grafana Cloud, an observability platform used by thousands of organizations. The Ingest team builds and maintains tools bridging observability needs with fleet management and Kubernetes monitoring Helm charts, enabling a scalable, AI-assisted development workflow.

The Observability department focuses on instrumenting code, ingesting data, and visualizing it to support health and performance across environments.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in remote teams or distributed environments.
• Strong foundation in observability concepts and OpenTelemetry.
• Ability to manage complex projects across time zones and cultures.

Responsibilities

• Lead backend and frontend engineers, giving feedback and supporting career growth.
• Collaborate with GTM, product and engineering leadership to align on Fleet Management, Helm Chart and Instrumentation Hub.
• Ensure end-to-end user experience fits Grafana Cloud products and maintain high-quality results.
• Foster psychological safety and a culture of continuous improvement across teams.
