Job summary

Grafana Labs, a fully remote, global team, is looking for an Observability Architect who will be the technical owner of long-term customer success.

You will architect and guide the implementation of complex observability solutions across diverse infrastructure and applications, and build strategic relationships with engineers, SREs, and architects to ensure Grafana technology is embedded in mission-critical systems.

Qualifications

5+ years in a technical support, TAM or similar post-sales role within tech.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
Experience deploying and operating Kubernetes.
Strong understanding of observability solutions (Grafana/Prometheus/Loki a plus).
Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary technical point of contact for a portfolio of Grafana customers.
Design the observability maturity journey and assist customers on that path.
Provide expert-level troubleshooting and guidance to drive adoption.
Conduct regular technical reviews and health checks to ensure client success and RCA when needed.
Advise clients on best practices to achieve business goals and ROI.
Collaborate to develop and execute technical roadmaps.
Identify opportunities to optimize costs and drive adoption of new features.
