Job summary

Grafana Labs, a remote-first observability company, is seeking an Observability Architect to own long-term customer success. You will guide architecture, implement complex observability solutions, and build strategic relationships with engineers, SREs, and architects across diverse environments.

You will lead technical discovery, enablement, and design reviews, aligning product feedback with Engineering and Product Management.

Qualifications

Located on the East Coast.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Math or related field.
Experience deploying and operating Kubernetes.
5+ years in technical support, technical account management, consulting, SE or Professional Services.
Strong understanding of observability solutions (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki a plus).
Proven ability to manage multiple clients and projects.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary technical point of contact for a portfolio of Grafana customers.
Design the observability maturity journey of customers and assist them on that path.
Provide expert-level troubleshooting and guidance to drive adoption.
Conduct regular technical reviews and health checks to ensure client success.
Advise clients on best practices and strategies for leveraging our technology.
Collaborate with clients to develop and execute technical roadmaps.
Identify opportunities to optimize cost and drive adoption of new features.
Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
Own customer lifecycle with support from Engagement Managers and Onboarding Solutions Architects.
Drive adoption of our product suite to maximize ROI.
Act as the voice of the customer for product feedback and roadmap input.
Conduct training sessions and workshops; develop technical guides and tutorials.
Work with account teams on regular reviews to discuss ROI and upcoming needs.
