Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Flex Nurse Educator to deliver non-clinical, educational support to patients remotely and in-field as needed. The role emphasizes empowering patients to manage their disease, improve treatment adherence, and engage with healthcare providers.

The position requires an active RN license, a Bachelor's degree, and at least 5 years of clinical experience. Travel up to 50% is expected, with flexible hours including some weekends and evenings. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing; multi-state licensing preferred.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Must reside in the specific geography and hold/obtain RN licensure as needed.
• At least 5 years of clinical experience in hospital, home health, pharmaceutical, or biotech settings.
• Proficient in virtual platforms, documentation, MS Office, and iPad technology.

Responsibilities

• Deliver remote patient education via telephonic, video, email, SMS, and secure messaging.
• Provide in-person education during territory vacancies (home visits and designated locations).
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with KPIs and protocols.
• Collaborate with District Managers and Field Leadership; assist in onboarding and mentoring.
• Coordinate connections between patients and program-approved resources.
• Educate patients on disease states and prescribed medications.
• Promote patient adherence and dialogue between patients and health care providers.
• Support patients through treatment journeys and address access barriers; drive behavioral change.
• Participate in team meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
• Uphold program guidelines and regulatory compliance.
