Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Flex Nurse Educator to deliver remote patient education and in-field visits as coverage requires. This non-clinical, educational role focuses on empowering patients to manage disease and improve treatment adherence, while meeting program guidelines and KPIs.

The role requires an active RN license, a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years clinical experience, ability to travel up to 50%, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing; multi-state compact preferred.
• Bachelor's degree required; BSN preferred.
• Must reside within the posting geography and be willing to obtain additional licensure.
• At least 5 years of clinical experience in hospital, home health, pharma, or biotech.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Proficient with virtual platforms, documentation, MS Office, and iPad.

Responsibilities

• Deliver remote patient education via telephonic, video, email, SMS, and secure messaging.
• Provide in-person education during territory vacancies, including home visits.
• Connect patients with program-approved resources and encourage dialogue with providers.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with KPIs.
• Collaborate with District Managers and Field Leadership; assist in onboarding and mentoring new team members.
• Coordinate between patients and patient-based resources.
• Educate patients on specific disease states and prescribed medications.
• Support patient adherence and address access barriers.
• Participate in training, team meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to program guidelines and non-clinical educational interactions.
• Uphold territory targets and regulatory standards.
• Schedule: travel up to 50% and Mon-Fri with some weekends/evenings.
