Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Flex Nurse Educator to support patient care through remote education and in-field coverage as needed. You will deliver medication administration training, adherence support, and non-clinical patient education while maintaining privacy and high educational standards.

This role requires active RN licensure, at least 5 years of clinical experience, and the ability to travel up to 50% for in-field assignments.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing (compact multi‑state preferred); may require multi-state licensure.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
• California RN licensure may be required for residents in Mountain/Pacific time zones.
• Must reside within the job's geographic footprint.
• At least 5 years clinical experience in hospital, home health, pharmaceutical, or biotech settings.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Proficient in virtual platforms, documentation, MS Office, and iPad technology.
• Private home workspace required.
• Driver’s license required; driving record reviewed.
• Must reside in country where job is posted.

Responsibilities

• Deliver remote patient education via telephonic, video, email, SMS, and secure messaging platforms.
• This is a non-clinical, educational role; empower patients to manage disease and improve treatment adherence.
• Provide in-person support and education during territory vacancies, including home visits at designated locations.
• Facilitate connections to program-approved resources and encourage dialogue with healthcare providers.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with approved protocols and KPIs.
• Collaborate with District Managers and Field Leadership; assist in onboarding and mentoring new team members.
• Coordinate connections between patients and program-approved, patient-based resources.
• Provide education on specific disease states and prescribed medications to patients.
