Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Licensing Engineer Energy - Remote to support licensing for facilities regulated under 10 CFR Part 70. This role is remote, based from the Oak Ridge/TN area, and collaborates with design and operations teams.

The candidate will prepare license application sections, coordinate inputs, and ensure traceability to NRC requirements while meeting schedules. A strong technical writing background and nuclear licensing experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nuclear/related engineering or Health Physics required; Master's desirable.
• 3 years of nuclear industry licensing/regulatory experience required.
• Experience drafting licensing applications and regulatory documentation.
• Familiarity with 10 CFR Part 70 and NRC guidance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sections of 10 CFR Part 70 license applications under senior guidance.
• Gather inputs from client and contractors and maintain traceability.
• Develop licensing content toward independent ownership of sections.
• Identify licensing commitments and record in commitments register.
• Support NRC information requests related to assigned sections.
• Prepare licensing presentations for internal and external audiences.
• Manage work to submittal schedules and raise issues affecting delivery.
