Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Licensing Engineer Energy for a remote role supported by our Oak Ridge, TN office. This position focuses on licensing facilities regulated under 10 CFR Part 70, with emphasis on fuel cycle processes and regulatory compliance.

You will draft assigned sections of license applications, perform evaluations, gather inputs from clients and designers, ensure traceability to NRC bases, and prepare presentations for internal and external audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Health Physics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of nuclear industry licensing experience.
• Experience drafting and reviewing licensing applications and regulatory documentation.

Responsibilities

• Draft and review assigned sections of license applications under supervision.
• Gather and coordinate inputs from client, designers, and contractors.
• Maintain traceability to NRC requirements and regulatory bases.
• Prepare licensing presentations and supporting material for internal and external audiences.
• Support responses to NRC information requests and manage submittal schedules.
