AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Intermediate Nuclear Engineer Energy – Remote, based out of the Oak Ridge, TN area. You will lead and coordinate nuclear engineering tasks, ensuring safety analyses and licensing support across disciplines.

The role requires 3+ years of nuclear engineering experience, strong regulatory knowledge (NRC/DOE/IAEA), and proficiency with MCNP/SCALE/Attila4MC/Serpent. A Bachelor’s in Nuclear Engineering is required, with Master’s/PhD preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Master’s or Ph.D. preferred.
• 3+ years of nuclear engineering experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate technical work supporting US nuclear safety licensing activities.
• Author, review, and approve technical documentation, including nuclear safety analyses.
• Support licensing by preparing safety basis documents.
• Participate in hazard analyses, process design reviews, and configuration management.
