AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Intermediate Nuclear Engineer Energy for a remote role based out of Oak Ridge, TN. The ideal candidate will lead and support nuclear engineering activities, ensuring safety analyses, licensing, and regulatory compliance across disciplines.

We value experience with SMR design, NRC DOE and IAEA standards, and proficiency in MCNP, SCALE, Attila4MC or Serpent. Strong leadership and cross‑functional collaboration are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Engineering or closely related field.
• 3+ years of nuclear engineering experience with a bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in nuclear industry preferred.
• Strong knowledge of SMR design concepts and licensing.
• Proven ability to work within regulatory frameworks (NRC/DOE/IAEA).

Responsabilidades

• Lead and coordinate technical work supporting US nuclear safety licensing activities.
• Author, review, and approve safety analyses and evaluation reports.
• Develop licensing support documents and safety basis calculations.
• Participate in hazard analyses and design reviews.
• Oversee interfaces across disciplines and with external vendors.
