Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineer, Energy for a remote role based out of Oak Ridge, TN. You will contribute to nuclear and commercial energy projects, designing and analyzing electrical systems to meet safety and efficiency goals.

You will collaborate across disciplines, apply regulatory guidance, and perform engineering calculations, drawings, and documentation to support project deliverables. U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
• Experience in nuclear industry preferred.
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain electrical systems.
• Interface with mechanical, nuclear, operations, and electrical teams.
• Perform calculations for lighting, volt drop, conductor sizing, and panel heat.
• Prepare design documents and coordinate with designers.
• Mentor junior colleagues and perform design checks.
• Ensure compliance with codes and regulatory criteria.
