AtkinsRéalis seeks an Intermediate Electrical Engineer, Energy to join our Oak Ridge team. Remote role based out of Oak Ridge, TN, contributing to nuclear and commercial energy projects through design, analysis, and implementation of electrical systems.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams, apply engineering principles, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory guidance across project stages from concept to installation.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
• Experience in nuclear industry preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiar with CE&I design software and MS Office.
• U.S. citizen required.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, and maintain electrical systems and equipment.
• Designs and analyses safety and non-safety related electrical systems for nuclear and commercial projects.
• Interfaces with mechanical, nuclear, operations and electrical teams for design and consultation.
• Apply codes, standards, and regulatory guidance to ensure compliant design.
• Perform engineering calculations (lighting, volt drop, conductor sizing, panel heat).
• Produce wiring diagrams, single line drawings, loop diagrams, specs and data sheets.
