Job summary

CVS Health is expanding its Minute Clinic Virtual Care team with a Nurse Practitioner for remote patient care. The 6-month PRN contract requires 20+ hours weekly, including some weekends.

Active NP licensure and Master’s in family practice are required, with ability to obtain additional licensure as needed. Responsibilities include holistic patient care from assessment to disposition, with documentation in an EHR and collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active, unrestricted Family Nurse Practitioner license in any US state or district.
• Minimum of two years of medically-relevant experience or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal, written and electronic communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously with strong organizational skills.
• Proficient with information management technology and EHR systems.
• Ability to collaborate with clinicians to provide high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic, evidenced-based care for patients aged 18 months and older via remote platform.
• Deliver assessment, diagnosis, treatment, counseling and disposition planning.
• Educate patients on pregnancy prevention, STI prevention and contraceptive care.
• Document patient care within an EHR according to policies.
• Coordinate care with internal and external colleagues and care teams.
• Work independently within a remote care team and take initiative.
